My Favorite Things

There are a few things that I absolutely love.

..Actually, there are a lot of things that I absolutely love.

This is just four of those things.

1. Swiss Swatch watch, $50, swatch.com

I LOVE THIS WATCH. That is all.

2. Teen Vogue, 1 year subscription $10, teenvogue.com

I started subscribing to Teen Vogue when I was 13 and I've scoured the pages, consuming every single word and picture on every single page from cover to cover ever since. It's definitely worth those ten bucks a year. But, if you're reading this blog, you probably already know about the amazing things the magazine contains.

3. H&M nailpolish, Miss Stone Heart, only in stores (I'm pretty sure)

This shade is so awesome. It's a gray color and I absolutely love it. Normally I wouldn't think gray would be a very good nail color but since it matches almost anything, I've fallen in love with it. You should definitely give it a try.

4. Sephora makeup kit, about $50, sephora.com

I got it basically for the eyeshadows because I love experimenting with colors. It includes 84 shades, as well as 60 shades of lip gloss, 6 shades of blush, eyeliner, lipliner, and all of the appropriate brushes.

Well, these are just four things that I absolutely love, and I just thought I'd share them with you.

Kathryn

Silver Buttons

H&M floral top and bracelets, A. Byer jacket, and the tights and skirt... I actually have no idea where I got them!
So, about this outfit. We have half days all this week because of exams and today I was bored
after school so I decided to take these pictures. My dumb camera is horrible. Like THE worst camera ever. But I guess it works. Sorry the second and third pictures are blurry! And you can't see my shoes! Ugh. It makes me mad, but there is no where else in my room where the camera can fit a full-length picture. So next time I'll get someone else to take them.
In the last picture, you can see the tags by my arm. I didn't take them off yet because I've been debating on taking the jacket back for a different size because the sleeves aren't long enough. I didn't forget to take them off!
Thanks so much for reading this, and next time I promise to have better quality pictures!!

Safari

I found this awesome dress at H&M about two months ago. It was a while ago but I wore it for the first time a couple of days ago and I absolutely love it. I love the print and the detail on the shoulders. I also love the reverse zipper. It adds nice detail. For my next post I'm going to attempt an outfit post..
Thanks for reading!

A Hoot

Studs, necklace and ring from Charlotte Russe (a wonderful source of owl accessories) and the dangly earrings are from Bass outlet.
(I know the first picture was unnecessary, but I wanted to show you how awesome the color edit made my nails look!!! If there was a shade of polish that electric, I must admit it would make my life that much more complete.)
I'm starting with a post about something simple because I'm not sure I've completly gotten the hang of blogging and what not. So until I do, you're going to be stuck with posts about jewlery, which leads me into my rant about winged creatures:
I'm currently in love with (no, not a boy) owls. Yes, the birds. I'm sorry. It sounds utterly pathetic, but you can call me Owl Lady. (I suppose it's a slight upgrade from Cat Lady.) I think owl jewlery is just so cute. Scratch that, I think anything owl is cute. My friend got me the Kate Spade planner for Christmas and it has a cute sketch of an owl on it. Can you say score?
Okay, my bird rant is over.
In other things, I just finished reading The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. It was amazing. I saw the movie a while back, and I had planned on reading the book as well, hoping that it would be as amazing as the movie. Safe to say it totally was. I was undeniably hooked - I couldn't put it down. I had it finished in the span of about 5 days and 4 reading sessions. And that's considering the fact that I have barely any time to ever read because of my overly rediculous amount of homework and studying. But I finished the 400 page book rather quickly and i was pretty happy with myself. My English teachers would be proud.
If you're reading this, I appriciate it so much! Hopefully my posts will become more interesting as I get more used to navigating this blog stuff! And I'm trying to get some pictures together to do some outfit posts as well!

Kathryn
